Tyro has been an innovation leader for nearly 20 years, and focused on helping our customers to keep moving forwards. We’re passionate about the healthcare sector having provided time saving payment and claiming solutions to support clinic efficiency and create more time for patient care for more than 15 years.
The Tyro Health story starts in 2009 when Tyro was the first to launch Medicare rebates via our EFTPOS machines, delivering a seamless way for Australians to see their health practitioner and process their Medicare claim on the spot.
In 2021, Tyro acquired Medipass, a leading Australian payments platform that delivered modern digital thinking to health payments, including innovative cardless payment and claiming options.
In 2022, Tyro Health was born, focussed on delivering payment solutions to the health industry, to make it easy to pay and be paid.
We are committed to connecting these stakeholders to drive more efficient communication, seamless financial transactions and greater transparency in Australian healthcare.
