Faster processing and payment of Medicare bulk-bill and patient claims
Medicare Online | Tyro Health Online
allows a digital experience built to support bulk-bill and patient claims for General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and Allied Healthcare Professionals, no terminal hardware required. With Medicare Online claims, an applicable Medicare benefit will be processed by Medicare and credited back to a patient’s bank account by Medicare, typically next business day or earlier.
This includes attributes required to lodge:
- general and referred services;
- permitted telehealth scenarios;
- permitted remote, regional, residential aged care facility,
- in-home, after-hours and other out of consultation room
- hospital inpatient (admitted) scenarios;
- simple pathology services by qualified providers; and
- overrides and exceptions:
- duplicate service overrides
- aftercare overrides
- restrictive overrides and
- multiple attendances
Medicare Easyclaim | Tyro EFTPOS
allows patients to receive their rebate on the spot when submitting a Medicare claim via their Tyro EFTPOS machine. It can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for patient billing and bulk billing claims.

- no batching or storage required for bulk bill claims
- single payment for health professionals, bulk bill claims in 1-2 working days, direct into a nominated account
- patient claims paid almost immediately into their bank account
- concession verification – instant confirmation of patients’ concessional status available to doctors, dentists, specialists, and allied health professionals that utilise Medicare for their billing purposes
We accept all Visa and Mastercard® debit and credit cards, as well as digital wallet cards via Apple Pay and Google Pay, for gap and other out of pocket patient payments.
